Role:

As a Workplace Infrastructure Engineer, you ensure that Windows clients and mobile devices function reliably, securely, and user-friendly. The focus is on a cloud environment around Microsoft 365 (M365) and modern endpoint management. It is not only about stable operation. Someone is needed who consistently automates processes, investigates root causes of errors, and shapes the platform technically.

Responsibilities:

• You administer Microsoft Intune for Android, Windows, and iOS devices and specifically expand device configurations, compliance, and security policies.

• For applications, you take over packaging and automated distribution and simultaneously manage update rings, feature and quality updates, as well as patching.

• You develop PowerShell scripts that automate recurring tasks and technical onboarding and offboarding including licences and permissions.

• Additionally, you support and optimise SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.

• For tricky errors in 2nd and 3rd level support, you investigate enrolment, policy, and deployment issues down to the root cause.

• You also implement migrations, changes, and lifecycle projects and help define technical standards and operational concepts.

Qualifications:

• You have at least 3 years of practical experience in client, endpoint, or workplace engineering.

• You are proficient with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 services. You are familiar with the integration of identity, security, and endpoint management.

• You implement modern endpoint management with Intune confidently, including MDM, MAM, enrolment, and endpoint security policies.

• You also have experience with Windows Autopilot, software packaging, and patch management via Windows Update for Business.

• You automate recurring processes with PowerShell and resolve complex client and update issues in a structured and independent manner.

• Furthermore, you work solution-oriented and communicatively, express yourself fluently in German, and easily understand technical content in English.
