Job Description
At the heart of integrated management of surface waters, lakes and rivers, within the Water Resources and Hydraulic Economics Division (DGE-EAU), River and Lake Shore Development Section, at the Directorate of Natural Resources and Heritage, as a Project Manager, you will carry out the following tasks:
Responsibilities
- Lead river and lake shore development projects both to protect against flooding and to revitalise them
- Manage large-scale river correction companies (ECF) for major projects at the scale of one or several catchment areas
- Support the head of the hydraulic force for the environmental remediation of hydroelectric concessions
- Advise on files related to the law on policing dependent on public domain (LPDP) for planning and building permit applications
Within the DGE-EAU, you will be attached to the River and Lake Shore Development Section, made up of 7 dynamic colleagues, for which you will also participate in the tasks and activities entrusted to it.

Qualifications
- EPFL or HES engineering degree in civil engineering, river hydraulics, environmental science, nature management or equivalent, complemented by a minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in river development projects and work supervision.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Organisational skills, interpersonal skills, stress resistance, adaptability and listening skills.
- Sense of responsibility and public service ethics, spirit of mutual aid and collaboration.
- Interest in environmental issues.
