Platform & Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
For the further development of a modern IT platform, an experienced Platform & Infrastructure Engineer is sought. The role offers plenty of scope for creativity in a hybrid environment and includes both cloud and traditional infrastructure components.
We are looking for a person who is at home in Azure, Linux, Windows, containerisation and automation and takes responsibility for the entire lifecycle of productive systems - from provisioning through monitoring and deployment to fault analysis.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring stable operation and further development of hybrid platforms on Azure and on-premises
Development and optimisation of automations with Terraform, Docker, PowerShell and Bash
Support of reverse proxy, TLS and PKI solutions including certificate management and code signing
Administration and optimisation of GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Pipelines
Support in the automated provisioning of servers, agents and clients
Taking over incident management from alerting to root cause analysis and sustainable resolution
Qualifications:
Several years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE or Platform Engineer, with at least 2 years responsible for productive systems
Expert knowledge in Docker as well as very good Terraform experience
Practical experience with Azure services such as VMs, VNet/NSG, Key Vault, ACR and Managed Identity
Good knowledge of Windows and Linux administration, especially IIS, WinRM, systemd, nginx/Caddy and SSH
Experience with PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server as well as secure scripting in Bash and PowerShell
Solid knowledge in DNS, networking, security, least privilege as well as image and dependency scanning
