Our legal advisory team is looking for you to strengthen our 9-member team in Central Switzerland at the Steinhausen and Lucerne locations!
As an entrepreneurially minded legal advisor, you actively shape the strategic development of legal advice, especially at the Steinhausen location. In addition, you identify cross-selling potentials across the entire BDO service portfolio and bring them in purposefully. You are open, approachable and convince with pronounced social skills and teamwork. Thanks to your flexibility as well as your solution- and needs-oriented way of working, you always find suitable answers for our diverse client structure, especially in Steinhausen. Very good English skills and ideally an existing network complete your profile.

Legal Advisor (m/f/d) 80-100% Location: Steinhausen and Lucerne

What you will achieve

• Legal support and advice for companies with a focus on commercial law as well as legal compliance of companies
• Active development and expansion of the advisory offering, especially at the Steinhausen location
• Proactive identification and implementation of advisory, tax and audit needs (cross-selling) through targeted networking of our (inter)national clientele with the extensive BDO service portfolio
• Management of interdisciplinary projects at the highest level in cooperation with our experts from law, tax, fiduciary, auditing and business services – your interface competence makes you a key figure in complex challenges
• Integration and expansion of modern technologies and artificial intelligence in legal advice as well as development and establishment of innovative solutions
• Independent acquisition and management of demanding mandates, especially in an international context, with responsibility for the development of the business area and the economic success of BDO

What makes you successful

• Entrepreneurially minded, structured and responsible personality with pronounced project management skills, innovative spirit and high initiative
• Strong strategic customer orientation and enjoyment of sales-oriented collaboration with various BDO departments
• Bar admission in a Swiss canton, ideally complemented by an additional diploma (LL.M, MBA, CAS or similar, preferably related to legal compliance or commercial law)
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in an international law firm, a consulting company or a legal department of a corporation
• Competence in Legal Tech & Digital Legal Transformation: experience in the conception, implementation and management of legal tech projects (including AI & automation)
• Fluent German and English skills at C2+/native level as well as additional language skills advantageous (e.g. French, Italian)
