STRUCTURAL DRAFTSMAN (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified specialist for architectural planning, CAD design, and digital project processing of demanding national and international structural projects. You will be responsible for creating execution and detail plans, building surveys, as well as 3D modelling with ArchiCAD and BIM, and support project management in the technical implementation of diverse construction projects. The focus is on precise working drawings, constructive detail development, digital building modelling, and coordination with specialist planners, clients, and authorities. The position offers a varied field of activity in an internationally oriented architecture and design environment with demanding projects and modern planning methods.

Responsibilities:

• Architectural planning and CAD drawing for demanding national and international new build, conversion, and extension projects

• Creation of execution and working plans including floor plans, sections, facades, and technical construction documents

• Constructive detail planning with development of component connections, material transitions, building envelopes, and architectural execution details

• Building surveys and existing condition documentation including on-site measurements, creation of sketches, and transfer into digital planning models

• 3D modelling with ArchiCAD and BIM including creation, editing, and updating of digital building models

• Project processing according to SIA phases with a focus on construction projects, approval procedures, tendering, and execution planning

• Coordination of specialist planning documents with alignment of structural engineering, building services, and other technical interfaces

• Support of project management in planning coordination, project administration, scheduling, and technical correspondence

• Communication with clients, authorities, and specialist planners in the context of plan approvals, technical clarifications, and project meetings

• Quality assurance and plan control with checking of dimensions, plan statuses, constructive details, and technical requirements

• Plan and documentation management with structured administration of CAD files, BIM models, revision statuses, and project documents

• Participation in architecture and interior construction projects with implementation of design specifications into technically precise and executable planning documents

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training as a draftsman/woman EFZ specialising in architecture or an equivalent recognised qualification in structural engineering

• Experience in Swiss architectural planning, especially in the creation of working, execution, and detail plans

• Very good user knowledge of ArchiCAD as well as solid experience with BIM and digital 3D plan processing

• Sound knowledge of building construction, materialisation, and technical detail development for demanding structural projects

• Knowledge of the Swiss SIA planning phases, building law basics, and relevant technical planning requirements

• Experience in coordinating architectural and specialist planning documents as well as in structured CAD and BIM data management

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical documentation and communication with project participants
