Windows Server Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
Stable infrastructures do not happen by chance. They require clean concepts and precise implementation. As a Windows Server Engineer, you plan server, network, and virtualisation solutions for various customer environments and implement them with technical expertise. You work daily with Windows Server, hypervisor platforms, and active network components. Customer proximity is an integral part, both on-site and remotely.
Responsibilities:
You analyse technical requirements and design suitable architectures for servers, storage, and networks.
You independently implement and maintain virtualised environments based on VMware vSphere and Hyper-V.
Furthermore, you configure switches, firewalls, and VLANs and ensure clean network segmentation.
Monitoring, patch management, and system hardening are your responsibilities, ensuring performance, stability, and security.
You independently advise customers on-site and via remote access and resolve faults in a structured manner.
Additionally, you train users on various IT topics.
Qualifications:
You have completed an apprenticeship as an IT specialist EFZ or hold a Microsoft certification in the Windows Server environment.
Extensive practical experience in server operation, network technology, and virtualisation characterises you.
Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and PowerShell completes your technical profile.
You think analytically, recognise connections, and plan your assignments independently.
Team spirit, flexibility, and reliability shape your working style.
You also hold a category B driving licence.
