Tax administrations need clever software – and behind that are clever minds. Our Rocken partner develops the leading business solution for cantonal and municipal tax administrations. The application covers the entire administrative process: from the tax register through assessments and invoicing to debt collection and loss certificate management. A new generation of software is currently being developed – an exciting project that combines technical know-how and innovative strength. You don’t just want to keep systems running but make them step by step more robust? As a Container Platform Engineer, you combine engineering with operations and take cloud-native platforms to a new level. The focus is on Kubernetes and Linux, complemented by Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and thoughtful automation. You measure reliability by clear metrics, not gut feeling. Here you take real responsibility and help shape the technical future of SaaS solutions.
Responsibilities:
You set up containerised customer environments with Docker and guide new customers securely through onboarding from a technical perspective
You develop backup, restore, and disaster recovery concepts within the team to ensure business continuity
You drive security topics in the DevSecOps environment, such as web application firewalls, identity and access management, as well as automated security checks and penetration tests
Additionally, you continuously optimise the SaaS platforms through observability, logging, monitoring, and the consistent reduction of manual routine work
Furthermore, you help shape incident management processes and respond confidently to disruptions
You also share your know-how with interdisciplinary colleagues, document solutions clearly, and naturally use AI-supported tools in everyday work
Qualifications:
You bring practical experience operating modern cloud environments from a role in site reliability, DevOps, or system engineering
You work confidently with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux and are familiar with deployment pipelines using GitLab and Argo CD
Your foundation is a computer science degree from a university, university of applied sciences, or higher technical college, or an equivalent career path. Certificates related to cloud native or Linux complement your profile
Furthermore, you feel at home with databases, logging and monitoring tools, as well as IaC
You confidently apply service level indicators and objectives (SLI/SLO) as well as ITIL principles in daily business
Additionally, you are characterised by curiosity about new technologies, team spirit, clear communication, and genuine enthusiasm for implementation
