Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced specialist for project management and specialist planning of demanding sanitary installations in the field of integral building technology. You will take on the design, costing and execution planning of sanitary projects and accompany diverse construction projects from technical conception to successful realisation. The focus is on developing sustainable sanitary concepts, digital planning with CAD and BIM, as well as coordinating interdisciplinary project teams. The position combines technical building services planning, specialist site management and independent project management with collaboration with clients, general and total contractors as well as external specialist planners.
Responsibilities:
Independent design and planning of demanding sanitary installations in new construction, renovation and refurbishment projects across the relevant SIA service phases
Responsibility for the technical handling of sanitary projects from concept development through tendering to execution planning and realisation
Creation of sanitary schematics, installation plans and technical detailed documents for drinking water, hot water and drainage systems
Conducting building services calculations and dimensioning for drinking water supply, hot water preparation, wastewater pipes and other sanitary installations
Preparation of tender documents, cost estimates and submissions including technical specifications and quantity determinations
Processing and coordination of digital CAD planning models with Nova as well as application of BIM methods for integral building services planning
Technical coordination of the internal planning team and alignment of planning services within the individual project phases
Coordination of interfaces between sanitary, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and other disciplines as well as coordination with architecture and structural planning
Taking over specialist site management during the execution phase including site inspections, technical clarifications and checking proper installation
Organisation and leadership of project meetings as well as direct collaboration with clients, architects, specialist planners and general and total contractors (GC/TC)
Responsibility for cost, schedule and quality management including monitoring of planning progress, project budgets and technical requirements
Support during commissioning, functional tests and system acceptance as well as ensuring complete technical project documentation and handover
Qualifications:
Completed training as a certified technician HF/TS building services, preferably with a focus on sanitary, or equivalent qualification through several years of relevant professional experience
Solid experience in planning, designing and realising sanitary installations as well as knowledge in the technical handling of demanding building services projects
Very good knowledge in dimensioning and planning of drinking water, hot water and drainage systems as well as in creating schematics, calculations and tender documents
Confident handling of CAD Nova and MS Office; practical experience with BIM-supported building services planning and digital specialist coordination is an advantage
Knowledge of relevant Swiss SIA standards, SVGW guidelines and technical regulations for planning and execution of sanitary installations
Experience in specialist site management and coordination of interdisciplinary project teams as well as collaboration with clients, GC/TC, architects and external specialist planners
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical project management, leading project meetings and communication with all project participants
