What is my role?

Our client is looking for you as a Senior ICT System Engineer (100%) to strengthen their IT team. You will take over the operation, administration and further development of the entire IT infrastructure and ensure that everything runs smoothly:

• Operation, administration and further development of the entire IT infrastructure

• Support of server, storage, network and client systems

• Management and optimisation of Microsoft 365, Azure and hybrid environments

• Ensuring availability, performance and security of the systems

• Planning and implementation of infrastructure and digitisation projects

• Further development of backup, disaster recovery and security concepts

• Analysis and resolution of complex faults in 2nd and 3rd level support

• Collaboration on IT architecture and technology topics

• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation

• Cooperation with specialist departments and external service providers

What do I need to be successful?

You bring solid know-how and the right attitude to get started in this role:

• Completed training or degree in computer science

• Several years of professional experience as a system engineer, ideally in an internal IT department

• Sound knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure)

• Experience with virtualisation technologies (VMware / Citrix)

• Good knowledge in the area of networking

• Experience in project management and implementation of infrastructure projects

• Microsoft certifications in Azure, Microsoft 365 or Security are an advantage and underline your solid expertise

• Independent, structured and responsible way of working

• High service orientation as well as strong communication skills

• Very good German skills as well as good English skills
