Role:
As an Accounting and Finance Specialist at our ROCKEN partner, you independently prepare financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER and further develop financial analyses, systems, and processes. In close collaboration with the CFO, you support the finance team with technical questions and in day-to-day operations. You take on a central interface function with management, the board of directors, and external partners, contributing your ideas to the further development of accounting.
Responsibilities:
You independently prepare annual and interim financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER for several group companies, investment companies, and construction companies including joint ventures.
As the central contact person, you accompany audits and reviews and support the CFO and finance team with questions regarding accruals, valuations, and VAT.
You build analyses in Abacus and further develop existing analyses on projects, contribution margins, and profitability.
You identify improvement potentials in financial processes and implement corresponding measures.
You accompany the further development of Abacus configurations and interfaces and coordinate projects with internal and external partners.
In day-to-day business, you support the finance team with creditor workflows, reconciliations, and bookkeeping of joint ventures.
With your expertise and coaching skills, you support the professional development of the team.
Qualifications:
High confidence in preparing financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER and several years of experience in accounting within an SME form your professional foundation.
Very good knowledge of Abacus in financial and asset accounting combined with a strong affinity for IT.
Knowledge of AbaProject or AbaBau is an advantage.
Your working style is independent, structured, analytical, and solution-oriented, characterised by high self-motivation.
You enjoy optimising processes and continuously developing accounting.
Clear communication and strong coordination skills complement your entrepreneurial thinking.
Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
