What is my role?

Our client is looking for a designer for machines and systems. Your main tasks:

• Planning, designing and optimising components, assemblies and products

• Creation of standard-compliant technical drawings and parts lists

• Selection of suitable materials and determination of tolerances

• Accompanying the system construction process from the concept phase to operation

• Supplier selection, ordering and quality control of drawing parts

• Collaboration as well as independent implementation of technology projects

What do I need to be successful?

This is what sets you apart:

• Sound knowledge in design as well as tolerance calculation and technical standards

• Experience in designing and optimising mechanical systems

• Understanding of materials, manufacturing techniques and assembly technologies

• Very good CAD skills (SolidWorks), confident handling of Office and PDM/ERP systems

• Ability to recognise and implement simple, unique and effective solutions
