CAD/BIM Modeller (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF90,000 - 95,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a specialist as a CAD/BIM Modeller Building Services Engineering for the planning of sophisticated and project-specific refrigeration systems. You will create 2D/3D plans and BIM models, process routing and coordination plans, and model cooling and deep-freeze areas for projects in industry, food production, logistics, pharmaceuticals, and retail. In close collaboration with project management, you will take on tasks in technical planning, BIM coordination, and documentation. At the same time, you will actively contribute to the further development of digital planning processes and modern BIM methods.
Responsibilities:
Creation and processing of 2D and 3D CAD/BIM models for sophisticated refrigeration and building services engineering systems
Development of routing, installation, and coordination plans for various project phases
Modelling and planning elaboration of cooling rooms, deep-freeze rooms, and refrigeration installations
Creation of principle schematics, detailed plans, and technical planning bases for refrigeration systems
Use of AutoCAD, Trimble Nova and/or Revit for model-based building services engineering planning
BIM coordination and alignment of models with architecture, building services engineering, and other specialist planning disciplines
Checking and processing of spatial interfaces and collision points within technical planning
Close collaboration with project management and specialist planners in developing technically feasible planning solutions
Independent participation in coordination meetings and ICE sessions as well as updating resulting planning changes
Maintenance and quality assurance of BIM models, CAD data, and technical project documentation
Active involvement in the digitalisation and standardisation of BIM and CAD processes
Support in the further development of modelling standards, templates, and digital planning methods
Qualifications:
Completed basic training EFZ in building services engineering, for example as a building services engineering planner, or technical training in refrigeration technology, HVAC or mechanical engineering
Professional experience in CAD planning and 2D/3D modelling of technical systems
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Trimble Nova and/or Revit, ideally with experience in BIM projects
Knowledge in routing planning, coordination planning, and technical principle schematics
Experience with BIM coordination and model-based planning processes is an advantage
Technical knowledge in the field of building services engineering or refrigeration technology or willingness to specialise in refrigeration planning
