Professor UAS in Food Chemistry (80-100%)
Are you passionate about the intersection of food chemistry and digital innovation? Join us at the University of Applied Sciences to shape the next generation of food scientists while driving cutting-edge research in digital food analytics.
Your mission

Teach food chemistry and analytical methods with a strong focus on data-driven approaches and digital technologies

Lead and grow an externally funded research program combining food chemistry, data science, and digital applications

Collaborate with industry partners to bring real-world challenges into Bachelor and Master programs and foster applied research projects

Inspire students and colleagues to integrate digital thinking into traditional food science disciplines
Your profile
-
PhD in Food Chemistry, Analytical Food Science or a related field; expertise in Data Science or Digital Sciences is highly desirable

Specialised in food analytics, process-induced-chemical changes, and modern analytical techniques

Hands-on experience in analytical labs and with data analysis; familiarity with sensor and process analytical technologies is a plus

Experience in industrial R&D and project management is advantageous

Passionate about teaching and training students in applied sciences and practice-oriented environments.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Fluent in English; proficiency in French, knowledge of German is a plus
Employment 80-100 %
