Head of Accounting Real Estate (m/f/d)
Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, the leading listed real estate company in Switzerland with activities along the entire real estate lifecycle, we are looking for an experienced leader to head the Accounting department.
You will take on a versatile leadership role with high visibility within the group and actively shape the future of the finance department. You will work in a finance team of around 25 experienced specialists in accounting, controlling, tax, audit, and corporate finance, in a modern working environment with short decision-making paths and flat hierarchies.

Responsibilities:
You are responsible for managing the accounting of all group companies in the areas of real estate, asset management, financing, as well as holding and management services
You ensure the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER and a high quality of financial reporting
You are responsible for budgets, forecasts, management reporting, and analyses, providing the management with well-founded decision-making bases
You act as the central contact person for the CFO, external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders
You lead a team of four employees both professionally and personally and develop it purposefully
You oversee the VAT group as well as all matters related to direct taxes including tax declarations and calculations
You participate in strategic projects or take on project management, e.g. in the areas of M&A, financing, digitalisation/AI, as well as process and system development
Qualifications:
You have a completed education in business administration, accounting, finance, or a comparable field; further training as an auditor, expert in accounting and controlling, or a comparable qualification is an advantage
You bring professional and leadership experience in accounting, tax, reporting, and/or audit with a solid practical understanding
You are characterised by a pronounced hands-on mentality, entrepreneurial thinking, and a high degree of personal responsibility
You possess strong analytical skills and can prepare complex matters appropriately for the target audience
You have very good knowledge of Office 365, especially Excel and PowerPoint, as well as an interest in modern technologies and AI in finance; knowledge of Abacus, Power BI, and IDL is an advantage
