The Béthusy after-school care, with a capacity of over 100 places, welcomes children from 7P to 11S. Located in the southern districts of the city, near the Ours metro station, it benefits from pleasant outdoor spaces and an environment offering numerous activity possibilities.

By joining this dynamic structure, you will become part of a team of about ten professionals. The team actively participates daily in the evolution of educational practices, and the structure is notably engaged in a pilot project concerning the organisation of lunchtime breaks.

The mission in APEMS focuses on developing children’s social skills through their participation in community life.

The implementation of collective projects, the monitoring of partnerships with those involved around the children, and team reflection on the educational project are essential actions that support and sustain the daily care of the group of children.

Main Mission(s)

Ensure the care of a group of children in accordance with the educational guidelines while maintaining a global vision

Support the group of children in completing daily activities as well as their school homework and promote their autonomy

Offer an individualised support approach linked to the skills to be developed or the child’s needs

Participate in the general organisation of the structure

Assume specific administrative tasks

Profile

Mandatory Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) as a social and educational assistant

Able to develop a participatory process within their team and in the children’s community

2-3 years of professional experience in developing projects and specific activities

Good knowledge of collective care facilities and group dynamics

Ability to document their activity and that of the group of children

Special Conditions

Clean criminal records (ordinary and special)

Contract without activities during school holidays - annualised working hours

Split hours from Monday to Friday - four-day working week
