Finance and Accounting Specialist / Deputy Head of Finance and Accounting (m/f)

Liebherr-Baumaschinen AG, with around 320 employees, is the leading provider of construction machinery and service solutions in Switzerland. To strengthen our finance team, we are looking for a committed and independent individual as a Finance and Accounting Specialist (100%).

In this versatile role, you will take on an important position within our finance team and support the Head of Finance and Accounting as deputy in professional and operational tasks.

Your Tasks

• Responsibility for fixed asset accounting
• Preparation and reconciliation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Preparation of VAT returns for Switzerland and Germany
• Responsibility for accounts payable processes in the ERP and invoice processing system
• Support of financial applications and ensuring correct data integration between systems
• Participation in internal and external audits
• Active involvement in the optimisation of financial processes, further development of the Internal Control System (ICS), and digitalisation projects
• Deputising for the Head of Finance and Accounting

Your Profile

• Commercial basic training with further education in finance and accounting (e.g. Finance and Accounting Specialist certificate or equivalent qualification)
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting
• Confidence in preparing financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations
• Experience in the area of VAT
• Affinity for ERP systems and digital processes
• Independent, reliable, and structured working style
• High team spirit and enjoyment in collaborating with various departments
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
• Good French skills are an advantage; English skills support you in working with colleagues from the international Liebherr group
