Business Applications Consultant (SAP)

Your Tasks

• You support the specialist departments in developing requirements and implementing changes in day-to-day operations within the SAP modules, preferably in the PP module.
• You implement changes and adjustments in the SAP system within your area of responsibility.
• You collaborate with other consultants to ensure seamless end-to-end processes.
• You assist other internal SAP consultants with tasks in the ERP and S/4HANA systems.
• You are responsible for the topics of a specific SAP module during the upgrade to S/4HANA as well as during the rollout.
• You investigate and analyse software developments and upcoming legal requirements to provide suitable solutions at an early stage.
• You contribute to the conception for the further development of existing business processes and business applications.
• You support regular audit reviews and matters related to SOX compliance.
• You coordinate and participate in the development of SAP Fiori apps.
• You support and further develop interfaces (e.g. REST) and connected systems.
• You manage changes to applications and implement measures for data security and data protection.
• You work with external partners in application management.
• You maintain close collaboration with the key users of the respective specialist departments.

Our Requirements

• Completed university degree, preferably in business informatics, or a completed Swiss IT apprenticeship with at least 3 years of professional experience handling SAP ERP ECC and basic knowledge of S/4HANA.
• Mandatory knowledge and practical experience in ABAP.
• Mandatory knowledge and experience in interfaces, especially with IDoc, REST and Fiori.
• German at native speaker level and English skills at least at B2 level. Spanish skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to occasionally work outside regular hours or at weekends during software rollouts.
• Willingness to travel to other GDELS locations for workshops.
• High commitment, initiative and a dynamic working style.
