Senior Project Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF125,000 - 130,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Project Manager Client Representation Building Construction for the strategic management of demanding renovation and new construction projects. You will accompany construction projects from project definition and strategy development through planning and realisation to handover into operation, consistently representing the interests of the client. In addition to managing costs, deadlines, quality and project objectives, you will take on a central role in advising and coordinating the involved planning and execution partners. Furthermore, you will contribute your network in the construction and real estate sector and actively participate in the acquisition and development of new projects and client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Development of project strategies, objectives and requirement definitions together with the client
Assumption of client representation and client consulting in demanding building construction projects
Management of renovation, conversion and new construction projects across all relevant project phases
Leadership and coordination of architects, specialist planners, specialists and executing companies
Monitoring and control of costs, deadlines, quality, risks and project objectives
Support of planning, tendering and realisation processes as well as ensuring decision-making bases for the client
Establishment of structured project controlling and reporting towards clients and decision-making bodies
Coordination of commissioning, acceptance and handover of construction projects into operation
Consulting the client on strategic, technical and organisational issues
Identification and acquisition of new clients and new project mandates in the building construction and real estate environment
Maintenance and further development of existing relationships with clients, authorities, planners and other market partners
Qualifications:
University degree in architecture, civil engineering (FH/ETH/university) or comparable construction-technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in client consulting, client representation or project management in building construction
Sound knowledge of Swiss planning and construction processes as well as SIA phases
Experience in managing complex renovation and new construction projects
Existing network with clients, authorities, planning offices and actors in the Swiss construction and real estate sector
Experience in acquisition, client development and project acquisition is an advantage
Confident German language skills; French, Italian or English skills are an advantage
