Network & Cyber Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Our Rocken partner is a Switzerland-wide consulting company with a versatile service portfolio. The company supports clients from various industries with solutions in fiduciary services, auditing, management consulting, tax and legal advice, as well as comprehensive IT solutions. For the internal finance department, a committed individual is sought who will take responsibility in accounting and actively contribute to the further development of (digital) processes.
Responsibilities:
Maintain, secure, and continuously develop the existing network and IT security infrastructure.
Design, implement, and technically integrate modern system and network solutions into client environments.
Optimise existing IT processes through automation and apply modern approaches such as Infrastructure as Code.
Analyse complex disruptions and root causes and implement sustainable solutions for network and security issues.
Administer, monitor, and optimise VMware environments regarding stability, performance, and availability.
Qualifications:
Completed computer science studies at FH or HF level or a comparable qualification with many years of professional experience.
Solid knowledge of network technology, firewall technologies, and IT security.
Experience with VMware virtualization solutions and ideally knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.
Independent, careful, and analytical working style with a strong sense of responsibility.
Fluent German skills and residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate or work as a cross-border commuter.
