Role:
On behalf of a client, we are seeking an experienced professional as a certified draughtsperson specialising in architecture for an established planning and engineering company focusing on architectural planning, industrial construction, and technical building planning. You will independently undertake CAD planning and 3D modelling of demanding construction projects from concept study to execution planning. The focus is on project, working, and detailed planning with Autodesk Revit, technical project coordination, and supporting project and construction management with cost control, scheduling, and tendering. Additionally, depending on experience, you will take on site management of smaller projects and support site management on larger construction projects.
Responsibilities:
Architectural CAD planning: Independently creating and editing 2D and 3D planning documents for demanding building and industrial projects
Project and execution planning: Developing site, project, working, execution, and detail plans across relevant planning phases
3D modelling with Revit: Creating and maintaining digital building models and BIM planning bases with Autodesk Revit
Detail and construction planning: Developing façade, roof, wall, floor, and connection details as well as constructive solutions for building implementation
Project work according to SIA: Supporting project management in relevant SIA phases 31-53 from design to realisation
Site management of smaller projects: Independently coordinating and monitoring construction processes, contractor services, execution deadlines, and quality requirements
Deputy site management: Supporting and representing the responsible site management on larger building and industrial projects
Cost planning and cost control: Assisting with cost estimates, cost calculations, budget monitoring, and cost forecasts
Tendering and pricing: Participating in the preparation of specifications, tender documents, offer comparisons, and award documentation
Measurement and construction administration: Determining and controlling construction quantities, measurements, contractor services, and billing bases
Scheduling and project coordination: Assisting with the creation and monitoring of schedules using MS Project and coordinating with specialist planners and executing companies
Plan management and quality assurance: Checking and updating CAD plans, BIM models, plan revisions, and technical execution documents
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training as a certified draughtsperson specialising in architecture or comparable technical training in building construction and design
Several years of professional experience in architectural, project, and execution planning, ideally in industrial or commercial construction
Very good user knowledge of Autodesk Revit (2D/3D) and experience in digital building modelling and BIM planning
Experience in site management, cost calculation, tendering, and measurement advantageous
Good knowledge of Messerli construction administration, MS Project, and Microsoft Office for cost, scheduling, and project work
Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards, building regulations, and constructive execution planning as well as experience coordinating with specialist planners and contractors
Very good German and English skills, spoken and written, for technical project work and international project coordination
