You investigate security alerts and suspicious activities, analyse affected systems and identities, and accompany the handling of security incidents from containment to documentation.
You implement security solutions in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments, test their functionality, and support technical documentation and acceptance.
You analyse vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, coordinate necessary measures, and ensure that security gaps are sustainably closed.
You operate and optimise security platforms, further develop detection rules and playbooks, and analyse errors or unexpected results.
You use automation to make recurring tasks more efficient and continuously improve security processes based on incident insights and current attack methods.
Qualifications:
You have training in computer science or a comparable qualification as well as practical experience in system engineering or cyber security. A part-time computer science degree is also a good foundation.
You have solid knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 and bring a good understanding of networks, systems, and identities.
You have already worked with security topics such as hardening, endpoint security, security alerts, or permissions and want to continuously expand your knowledge.
Knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel, PowerShell, and KQL is an advantage.
You enjoy direct communication, can explain technical matters clearly, and work solution-oriented and reliably even with complex security issues.
