Role:
For a dynamic IT company in the Basel metropolitan area, we are seeking reinforcement for the engineering team. Here you will support customers with different requirements and design IT environments that run reliably and grow with the company. You will benefit from varied projects, a collegial environment, and short decision-making paths. As a systems specialist, you are the first point of contact for your customers' technical questions and lead solutions from analysis to operation.
Responsibilities:
You clarify requirements together with customers and develop suitable solution proposals
You plan and design IT solutions that fit the customers’ needs
You take on procurement, setup, and ongoing support of clients, servers, and local networks
You implement applications on terminal server and virtual desktop platforms
You are responsible for operation, maintenance, and support of the systems
Qualifications:
You have completed IT training; certifications in Microsoft or Citrix environments are desirable
You have ideally further trained as an IT technician HF or similar
You bring solid experience with current Windows server and client environments
You have already worked with virtualisation solutions; knowledge of Exchange and SQL Server is an advantage
You are familiar with networks (LAN, WLAN, VPN, TCP/IP)
You have a good understanding of mobile computing topics
You work customer-oriented, independently, and enjoy working in a team
