Application Manager (m/f/d)
Our partner offers WLAN and Network Access Control solutions and software development. The strengths of our ROCKEN partner are the evaluation, planning, implementation as well as the operation and support of WLAN and Network Access Control solutions.
Role:
Stable applications arise from precise planning, clean processes and professional release management. We are looking for a personality who manages the entire lifecycle of business-critical applications and actively shapes modern deployment strategies.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the stable operation and continuous development of central business applications
Planning, coordination and control of releases across various system landscapes
Ensuring smooth deployments and productive commissioning
Analysis of technical requirements and implementation of optimisation measures
Management of changes according to ITIL and coordination with internal departments
Collaboration with development, infrastructure, cloud and DevOps teams
Monitoring application quality through monitoring and performance analyses
Support in automating release and deployment processes
Participation in cloud transformations and modern platform strategies
Documentation and continuous improvement of operational processes
Qualifications:
Experience in application management or release management
Knowledge of ITIL processes
Experience with deployment, CI/CD or DevOps environments is an advantage
Understanding of databases, interfaces and modern application architectures
Analytical and structured working style
Enjoyment in optimising complex IT processes
