Junior System Administrator (m/f/d)
Role:
You are looking for a new challenge as an IT system administrator and already have experience in this field. In this role, you take responsibility for the IT infrastructure and act as an expert for projects and support. You contribute your know-how and drive digitalisation forward. Your tasks include the administration and further development of IT systems to ensure an efficient and secure infrastructure. You are responsible for solving problems and implementing projects to successfully shape the digital transformation.
Responsibilities:
- You independently resolve IT requests and faults in 1st and 2nd level support
- In this role, you support employees with hardware and software, clients, peripherals, and standard applications
- As an IT system administrator, you take responsibility for the administration and operation of the IT infrastructure
- You actively identify improvement potentials and optimise systems and processes to sustainably improve the IT environment
- You help design IT security measures, updates, patch management, authorisation concepts, and technical security standards
- You maintain, service, and develop server, network, Microsoft, and client systems purposefully
Qualifications:
- You have completed training in the IT field and have solid practical experience in system administration
- You enjoy taking responsibility, solving problems independently, and purposefully applying new technologies
- Ideally, you have already gained experience with Citrix and virtual desktop environments
- You independently implement IT projects, migrations, and technical changes – from conception through execution to documentation
- You are a true team player who keeps an overview even in hectic situations and approaches users with a strong service orientation
- You enjoy working in a small, dynamic team where short communication paths and close collaboration are valued
