Social Educator (M/F) at 50%

The municipalities of Chippis, Grône and Anniviers are looking for a dynamic and conscientious person to complete their professional team and develop their socio-educational focus. They are therefore advertising a position in community social education for the benefit of young people and families in the region.

Your mission

• Provide a presence and encourage contact with the target audiences.
• Offer listening and receive needs.
• Support and accompany the target audience (both group and individual support).
• Collaborate in the initiatives and actions carried out by the socio-cultural facilitators.
• Develop the harassment prevention scheme across the 3 partner municipalities.
• Participate in the general activities of the organisation.

Your profile

• Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in social work with a specialisation in "social education", a social education diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Benefiting from significant experience in outreach social work.
• Knowledge of the needs and development of children and adolescents.
• Knowledge of the social fabric, both local and regional.
• Ability to work autonomously and independently within a multidisciplinary team.
• Being a dynamic, conscientious and caring person.
• Skills in project management, organised working methods and initiative.
• Flexibility regarding the irregular hours of social work.
• Category B driving licence required.
