Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
Stable and highly available IT infrastructures are the foundation of successful companies. We are looking for an experienced individual who develops modern data centre platforms and actively shapes innovative virtualisation, storage, and backup solutions.
Responsibilities:
Planning, operation, and further development of highly available server and virtualisation platforms
Administration of VMware, NetApp, and Veeam environments
Design of modern backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
Optimisation of storage systems regarding performance, scalability, and availability
Participation in data centre modernisations and hybrid cloud projects
Automation of administrative tasks with PowerShell or Infrastructure as Code
Analysis of complex infrastructure disruptions and development of sustainable solutions
Introduction of modern monitoring and observability platforms
Creation of technical documentation and infrastructure concepts
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in operating modern IT infrastructures
Very good knowledge of VMware, NetApp, and Veeam
Experience with virtualisation, backup, storage, and high availability solutions
Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and automation is an advantage
Analytical and solution-oriented working style
Enthusiasm for modern data centre technologies and continuous optimisation
