Head of Angiology (a)

What the professional everyday life looks like

• Taking over the personnel, professional and organisational management of the Angiology department at all KSBL locations
• Ensuring high-quality, patient-centred angiological care
• Care and treatment of hospitalised and outpatient patients with the full spectrum of angiological diseases
• Performing and interpreting all non-invasive angiological diagnostics, especially duplex sonography and ABI
• Contributing to the further development of diagnostic and therapeutic services and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Close cooperation with vascular surgery, interventional radiology, cardiology, internal medicine and other specialties (USGG-certified vascular centre)
• Involvement in clinical duties
• Supervision and training of assistant and specialist doctors
• Ensuring high quality and safety standards
• Participation in further training, continuing education activities and, if interested, clinical research projects

Competences and potential

• Specialist title in General Internal Medicine and Angiology
• Several years of clinical experience and proven expertise in the entire spectrum of angiology
• Leadership experience (with appropriate further training) and enthusiasm for developing a team and a modern specialist department
• Entrepreneurial thinking and willingness to strategically further develop angiology at KSBL
• Experience in own research projects as well as interest in participating in ongoing projects
• Empathetic, committed personality with a high level of service and patient orientation
• Strong communication skills, networked and goal-oriented working style
