Role:
A stable infrastructure does not arise by chance, but through a clear technical signature. This is exactly what you bring as a Hybrid Cloud System Engineer. The focus is on a hybrid landscape with Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure, complemented by virtualised server and network systems. In addition to stable operation, you actively shape modernisation projects. Those seeking technical depth and responsibility will find plenty of scope for design here.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the smooth operation of server, storage, network and client systems.
In addition, you administer hybrid cloud environments including ongoing optimisation.
You drive infrastructure and digitalisation projects forward, from conception to implementation.
You continuously refine security, backup and recovery concepts.
Furthermore, you resolve complex faults in 2nd and 3rd level support and keep technical documentation up to date.
You also coordinate closely with internal departments and partner companies.
Qualifications:
You have a computer science education or a corresponding degree.
Several years of experience in engineering complex IT environments shape your career.
Windows Server and Active Directory are part of your daily toolkit.
Furthermore, you are confident in virtualisation environments such as VMware and have a good knowledge of network fundamentals.
Project experience in the infrastructure environment rounds off your profile; certifications in cloud or security are a plus.
You work independently, communicate reliably and are proficient in spoken and written German; you use English effortlessly in technical daily work.
