About the Role
Our client, an international company specialised in maritime trading, is looking for a Project Operator to strengthen their team.
You will be responsible for the operational follow-up of purchases and the logistical coordination of international projects. You will work daily with suppliers, clients, and partners located in different countries to ensure the smooth running of operations, from negotiation to delivery.
Tasks
- Manage technical purchases for international projects.
- Negotiate purchasing conditions with suppliers.
- Organise and monitor import-export operations (maritime, road, and air).
- Coordinate exchanges between clients, suppliers, freight forwarders, and sales teams.
- Ensure order follow-up and respect of deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure client satisfaction.
We Are Looking For
- Initial experience in technical or industrial purchasing.
- Good knowledge of import-export operations.
- Excellent level of French and English (minimum C1).
- Very good command of Excel.
- A proactive, organised person comfortable in an international environment.
- A strong client orientation and excellent negotiation skills.
