Do you love it when the numbers add up and the accounts are finalised? Then you are in the right place with us. We are looking for an accountant with finalisation expertise and a keen eye for detail.

For our client, an established company in the service sector, we are seeking a committed, reliable, and experienced accountant with finalisation expertise 80-100%. The position is initially to be filled temporarily for sixmonths. The possibility of continued employment or permanent position will be evaluated during the assignment. You can expect a varied role with a high degree of independence, scope for creativity, and a motivated team. Due to the well-connected location in the Zurich metropolitan area, you can easily reach the workplace by all available means of transport.

Your tasks with the new employer:

• You will manage accounts payable and receivable, including document recording, invoice verification, payment transactions, and account reconciliations
• You will independently prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER and ensure their timely completion
• You will be responsible for period-appropriate accruals, provisions, valuations, and other closing entries
• You will prepare VAT returns and assist with tax-related queries
• You will contribute to the optimisation and further development of digital accounting processes
• You will act as a competent contact person for internal specialist departments, the external audit office, and other external contacts

You offer your new employer:

• You have a commercial basic education, ideally with further training in accounting and/or a federal diploma in finance and accounting
• You bring several years of professional experience in financial accounting as well as solid experience in independently preparing monthly and annual financial statements
• You have good knowledge of accounting according to OR, ideally also according to Swiss GAAP FER
