For our ROCKEN partner, an industrial company in the energy infrastructure sector in the canton of Lucerne, we are seeking reinforcement for the small, well-established finance team. You will take primary responsibility for accounts receivable and accounts payable and assist with financial statements. You will contribute your ideas, optimise processes, and actively shape digitalisation.
Responsibilities:
You bear primary responsibility for accounts receivable and accounts payable including payment transactions, dunning, and management of open items
You manage and reconcile subsidiary ledgers and asset accounting and ensure correct posting as well as reconciliation with the general ledger
You handle general ledger tasks, perform account reconciliations, and independently resolve discrepancies
You actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and prepare VAT returns
You support liquidity planning, controlling tasks, and finance-related analyses and take on tasks in projects related to finance, ERP, digitalisation, and process optimisation
Qualifications:
You have a solid education or further training in finance and accounting (e.g. accounting clerk or finance and accounting specialist with a federal diploma) or a comparable qualification
You bring proven practical experience in finance and accounting, ideally in a manufacturing company
You have experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and closing tasks
You work confidently with ERP systems and Excel, are IT-savvy, and enjoy questioning, simplifying, and further developing processes digitally
You work independently, in a structured and reliable manner, and bring initiative and a sense of responsibility
