Head of Automation Project Execution - Chocolate & Flavour Creation (100%)
Would you like to combine your experience in process automation with leadership, international collaboration and entrepreneurial responsibility? Our Chocolate & Flavour Creation business unit develops innovative equipment and solutions for processing chocolate, coffee, cocoa, nuts and other ingredients. As Head of Automation Project Execution, you are responsible for the successful implementation of our automation projects in plant engineering, further develop our global automation competencies and lead the automation team at the Uzwil site into a successful future.
This is where you will excel
- You take overall responsibility for automation within project execution and ensure the technical, timely, qualitative and economic implementation of our customer projects
- You are responsible for automation projects in plant engineering from the offer preparation to successful project completion and coordinate the necessary internal and external resources worldwide
- You lead and develop the automation team at the Uzwil site and specifically expand the global automation competencies according to the Project Execution strategy of Chocolate & Flavour Creation
- You take responsibility for the automation cost centre as well as for the preparation of all offers in the field of plant control
- You support sales and the retrofit business, deepen the understanding of our customers’ needs and promote effective customer communication
These are the required skills
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable field, or technical basic training with relevant further education at university of applied sciences level
- At least five years of professional experience in process automation in an industrial environment as well as proven leadership experience
- Further training in leadership and business administration is an advantage
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, high commitment as well as experience in working with international and interdisciplinary stakeholders and fluent German and English skills
- Willingness to travel internationally up to max. 10%
