Abacus Software Consultant (m/f/d)

In this role, you will dive deep into the world of Abacus Business Software and act as the central contact person for internal and external customers. You will take on the solution-oriented handling of enquiries by phone and email, coordinate change requests, licence adjustments, and update projects, and ensure that all steps are documented in a structured manner. Additionally, you will support specialist departments with your business and technical know-how, prepare training materials, and contribute to internal training and further education. With your experience in customer support and your understanding of accounting, IT, and business processes, you will significantly contribute to the efficient use and continuous optimisation of Abacus solutions.
Responsibilities:
- You support the well-established support team in competently advising customers
- In this role, you handle customer enquiries in a solution-focused manner by phone or email
- As a business informatics consultant for Abacus software, you coordinate internal specialist departments on technical topics, licence adjustments, change requests, and update projects
- You document customer interactions in the ticketing system
- In this role, you contribute to the creation of training materials for customer support
- As a business informatics consultant for Abacus software, you participate in internal training and further education as well as in customer training
Qualifications:
- You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or have a comparable qualification
- You have experience in customer support, ideally with Abacus or a comparable ERP software
- You have an affinity for accounting, IT, software, and business processes
- You work in a structured manner, document your tasks, and think process- and solution-oriented
- You are a team player, resilient, responsible, flexible, and reliable
- You convince with strong customer orientation, polished manners, and excellent German and English skills
