In this responsible role as Senior Network Engineer, you will take on the planning, further development, and operation of international network infrastructures. You will design modern, secure, and highly available communication networks that withstand technical requirements in the long term. You will work closely with internal IT teams to ensure smooth processes and optimal solutions. Additionally, you will coordinate external service providers and ensure that all parties work towards a common goal. Through your commitment, you will significantly shape the future of the entire network landscape.
Responsibilities:
You plan and develop modern enterprise networks with Cisco, Meraki and Nokia
You accompany network, security, and infrastructure projects from conception to international rollout
You resolve complex faults in LAN, WAN, WLAN, LTE, firewall and proxy in 3rd-level support
You also ensure monitoring, quality assurance and documentation of the infrastructure
Together with internal teams and providers, you continuously develop the network environment
Qualifications:
A qualification as an IT specialist EFZ, HF, FH or equivalent as well as experience as a network engineer is required
You have know-how in routing, firewalls, LTE, VLAN, VPN, DHCP, DNS, NAT and NetFlow
Knowledge of VRF, OSPF, QoS, ZBF, Python and segmentation as well as CCNP is an advantage
You have excellent written and spoken German and English, a category B driving licence, and about 10% willingness to travel completes your profile
