Senior System Engineer Modern Workplace & Cloud (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF115,000 - 130,000Role:
Do you want to design modern IT infrastructures, solve complex technical challenges, and ensure the reliable operation of IT systems? Do you enjoy hands-on work, think beyond individual systems, and take pleasure in continuously improving existing environments? In this role, you take responsibility for the operation and further development of modern workplace and cloud solutions, ensuring that employees can work securely and efficiently at all times.
Responsibilities:
Operate and optimise workplace environments: You are responsible for the further development of modern client and workplace infrastructures and ensure stable, secure, and user-friendly operation.
Manage Microsoft technologies: You administer and optimise Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and Windows client environments and continuously develop existing configurations.
Implement infrastructure projects: You accompany migrations, rollouts, and technical changes from planning to productive introduction and coordinate the involved specialists.
Resolve disruptions sustainably: You analyse complex technical problems, support 2nd and 3rd level support, and develop sustainable solutions for recurring errors.
Drive security and automation: You implement security policies, optimise permission and device concepts, and automate recurring tasks with suitable scripting and management tools.
Qualifications:
You have a qualification in computer science or a comparable qualification and bring several years of experience in system engineering.
You possess solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows client management, Intune, and Microsoft Entra ID. Experience with Azure services is an advantage.
You are familiar with identity and access management, endpoint security, network fundamentals, and modern IT operational concepts.
You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and enjoy systematically analysing and independently solving technical problems.
You communicate clearly, enjoy working in a team, and take responsibility for the quality and further development of the systems you manage.
