In this role, you take responsibility for the secure operation and continuous development of the IT security infrastructure. You analyse security risks, monitor systems, and initiate measures to reliably protect data and applications. Furthermore, you plan and implement security concepts, policies, and processes and ensure their compliance. As an IT Security Administrator, you assist in investigating security incidents and provide professional support during audits and penetration tests. With your professional expertise, you contribute decisively to maintaining information security at a high level.
Responsibilities:
You install, configure, and operate firewall and IT security solutions
In this role, you manage and optimise firewall rules, security policies, and VPN connections
As an IT Security Engineer, you monitor and analyse security-relevant alerts and log data
You perform updates, maintenance work, and system hardening measures
In this role, you participate in the planning and implementation of IT security projects for customers
Qualifications:
You have experience in installing, configuring, and administering firewall and IT security solutions
You possess good knowledge of firewall rule sets, NAT, VPN, network zones, and security policies
You bring experience with log analysis, alert handling, and security-related documentation
You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner
You enjoy direct contact with customers
You have very good German language skills
