Head of Construction Management (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF140,000 - 145,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced Head of Construction Management / Architecture & Real Estate for the strategic, professional and operational management of a construction management division. You will be responsible for demanding conversion, renovation and value preservation projects and accompany these from condition analysis and feasibility through planning and approval to implementation and billing. In addition to leading the team, you will take on consulting, acquisition and representation tasks and continuously develop the service offering. The position combines architecture, construction management, real estate expertise and leadership responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Strategic, professional and operational management of the construction management division
Leadership and development of the assigned project managers and specialist staff
Development, planning and control of conversion, renovation and value preservation projects
Preparation of condition and object analyses as well as feasibility studies
Development of renovation strategies and investment or renewal concepts
Responsibility for building submissions, approval procedures and execution planning
Management of projects regarding costs, deadlines, quality and project risks
Supervision of execution including cost controlling, acceptance and project billing
Consulting real estate owners on construction, technical and economic issues
Responsibility for acquisition, offer preparation and customer development
Conducting specialist lectures and seminars on construction and real estate topics
Representation of the division towards external committees, authorities and industry partners
Qualifications:
Completed studies as Architect FH/ETH with further training in construction management, site management or real estate management
Several years of professional experience as site manager, project manager or client representative, especially in conversion and renovation projects
Proven leadership and result responsibility in the construction or real estate environment
Sound knowledge of Swiss building legislation, SIA standards as well as planning and approval procedures
Experience in cost planning, project controlling, tendering and awarding
Experience in acquisition, client consulting and contract negotiations
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
