You ensure that quality is no accident. As a Testing Manager, you keep an overview of all testing activities and steer them purposefully. You find errors not just shortly before go-live, but long before. Teams appreciate your steady hand and clear stance. This builds trust in every new software version.
Responsibilities:
You plan and control the entire testing process from requirements analysis to final acceptance
This includes defining quality criteria and test metrics that make project progress measurable
You specifically expand test automation and create stable, maintainable test suites
You clarify priorities with stakeholders from business and IT and derive meaningful test scopes
Furthermore, you conduct regression, integration, and load tests and evaluate the results
You continuously develop testing methods and tools and share your knowledge within the team
Qualifications:
You have a solid education in computer science, such as a degree from a university of applied sciences or a higher technical college
You bring several years of experience in managing software tests and ideally hold an ISTQB certification
You are familiar with tools like Azure DevOps or Xray, as well as automation solutions like Playwright
Additionally, you are experienced in agile setups and feel comfortable in hybrid project models
You tackle problems persistently, keep calm under time pressure, and communicate results clearly
You express yourself confidently in German and navigate English-speaking projects without difficulty
