Supply Chain Planner
As a Supply Chain Planner at VAT, you coordinate the planning activities for our materials in the field of advanced vacuum technology. Your role includes close collaboration with customer order and production planning, ensuring timely procurement, monitoring delivery dates, inventory management, and maintaining material master data in Microsoft Dynamics 365. Furthermore, you are responsible for operational performance management of our supplier base in close cooperation with our strategic category management. Your tactical and analytical skills, as well as your experience in procurement and supply planning, are crucial to support our commitment to providing innovative and high-performance solutions in vacuum technology.
Your responsibilities:

Planning and coordination of global procurement activities for materials in the field of vacuum technology

Close collaboration with worldwide teams in order management and production planning to ensure smooth supply to international production sites

Ensuring timely procurement and availability of materials from suppliers

Handling daily purchasing activities, including approval and follow-up of orders

Monitoring and coordinating supplier delivery dates to ensure on-time deliveries

Monitoring supplier performance based on relevant KPIs and implementing continuous improvement measures together with suppliers

Maintaining accurate supplier confirmations and delivery commitments in Microsoft Dynamics 365

Ensuring high quality and reliability of master data in Dynamics 365

Optimising inventory levels, material planning parameters, and material availability

Active participation in projects to optimise the supply chain and relevant processes

Handling escalations and urgent material requests in close coordination with suppliers
Your profile:
-
Completed studies in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or a comparable qualification
-
At least three years of professional experience in procurement planning, purchasing, or a similar function
-
Solid knowledge in inventory management as well as handling KPIs and reporting
-
Very good MS Office skills, especially in Excel; experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

Analytical, strategic, and process-oriented thinking as well as a structured working style

Independent, proactive, and resilient personality with strong negotiation and organisational skills

Experience in project management is an advantage

Fluent German skills as well as good English skills, both written and spoken
