We are looking for one of our Neuchâtel-based clients in the field of industrial production a

IT Operations Team Leader FR/EN

who will supervise a team of 7 senior systems engineers responsible for the platforms hosting the company’s industrial applications.

You will, together with your team, be responsible for ensuring the availability of the IT systems that control the entire production, ensuring their evolution over time, in compliance with company rules in a 24/7 active environment.

The main applications under your responsibility are the Manufacturing Execution System, equipment maintenance management, production planning and monitoring. You will also ensure the proper functioning of the interfaces between these different systems as well as with the company’s ERP.

The position involves approximately 80% operational technical work and 20% team management. The role is aimed at a person with strong technical skills, previous experience as a Cloud systems engineer in an industrial production environment, and experience in team management.

Your profile

• Engineering degree or Master’s in computer science, production management or a related field, with an industrial technical focus
• More than 20 years of professional experience in operational management of an IT centre in an industrial production environment, including at least 5 years as a systems engineer
• Experience in managing a small team
• Proven experience in project management (PMI) and Agile methodology. Certifications in these areas are highly desirable
• Experience managing a hybrid environment, including Azure Cloud
• Willing to participate in on-call duty (about 1 week per month, remote intervention)
• Excellent command of French and good knowledge of technical English
• Swiss nationality, valid work permit or European Union citizen
