Network Infrastructure Engineer - Cisco, Check Point & Secure Operations (m/f/d)
Our client is an established technology company that develops and realises sophisticated technical systems and components for international applications. The company combines development, manufacturing and technical services and supports its solutions through various phases.
Precision, quality and reliable processes characterise the working environment. You can expect a technically demanding environment with short decision-making paths, high personal responsibility and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities:
Support and technical further development of complex network and communication platforms.
Conducting fault diagnostics, service deployments and periodic maintenance work at various locations.
Implementation of controlled configuration changes as well as technical modernisations.
Development and realisation of maintenance strategies for low-interruption operation.
Technical collaboration in rollouts, system couplings and integrations including the creation of operational and training documents.
Qualifications:
Advanced professional training in computer science or comparable technical background.
Many years of experience in IP networking with confident handling of routing, switching and LAN/WAN technologies.
Experience with Cisco platforms, Check Point Maestro and the setup or operation of firewall solutions.
Knowledge in storage, virtualisation and network security; relevant manufacturer certificates are welcome.
Strong troubleshooting skills, personal responsibility and service orientation as well as good German and English skills; driving licence category B and willingness for irregular deployments required.
