A self-reliant IT system engineer is sought to support various customer environments. You operate and optimise existing IT infrastructures, further develop hybrid solutions, and accompany technical projects from conception to successful implementation.
The position offers you flexible working options, short communication paths, and room for your own ideas. You take responsibility for your tasks, work with various specialists, and can continuously develop your professional skills.
Responsibilities:
Administration and further development of customer infrastructures in local and hybrid environments
Support of Windows servers, Active Directory, DNS, and file as well as application servers
Implementation and maintenance of virtualisation platforms and backup systems
Planning, coordination, and execution of IT infrastructure projects
Advising customers on technical questions and infrastructure decisions
Analysis of existing systems and development of optimisation measures in collaboration with internal teams
Qualifications:
Several years of professional experience as a system engineer in the IT service environment
Sound knowledge of Windows server environments and their operation
Experience with VMware or Proxmox as well as backup solutions such as Veeam
Practical experience in technical customer management and implementation of infrastructure projects
Analytical and solution-oriented working style with a high degree of independence
Team spirit and willingness to take responsibility for customers and technical tasks
