About the job

famiya is an association active since 1987 in the districts of Sarine and Lac (canton of Fribourg). It supervises around 150 family-based carers, offers 280 childcare places spread across 38 municipalities, and operates under the supervisory mandate of the Child and Youth Service (SEJ). In light of the retirement of its director, famiya is seeking its future leadership.

Your mission

You will ensure the strategic and operational management of the association, in close collaboration with the management committee. You are responsible for relations with the State, municipalities, and institutional partners, financial and human resources management, statutory tasks, as well as steering development projects. As a bearer of a vision, you enjoy taking on challenges and driving progress. You embody famiya’s values with families, carers, and authorities.

Your profile

• Higher education in management or social sciences; a CAS or DAS in non-profit institution management is an asset
• Proven experience in leadership or broad responsibility in a comparable institution
• Financial rigour; good foundations in accounting and HR
• Comfortable managing multiple varied files simultaneously, able to prioritise and decide quickly under pressure
• Relational intelligence and good listening skills
• Very good command of French; good knowledge of German
• Knowledge of the cse.kibe software is an asset
