Are you a passionate AI Engineer eager to work at the forefront of technological innovation? For our client in Solothurn, we are looking for you to become part of a new AI Hub. You will be responsible for the technological foundation of AI and collaborate with various departments to develop and implement meaningful AI applications. You will work closely with business and process owners to develop AI agents and LLM/GenAI applications for specific business requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for expanding and operating a central platform that includes AI services and knowledge management. Your Tasks
- You identify and realise meaningful AI applications together with the departments from the idea to productive deployment.
- You develop AI agents, LLM/GenAI applications, RAGs, and agent orchestrations for specific business requirements in collaboration with business and process owners.
- You further develop the central platform for agents, AI services, LLM access, and knowledge management and are responsible for its operation.
- You share your know-how, develop patterns and best practices, and enable teams to use AI independently and responsibly.
- You securely integrate APIs, data sources, and enterprise systems and advance proofs of concept into robust, scalable production solutions.
- You ensure data protection, identity and access management, and traceability in AI solutions from the outset and implement the necessary security measures.
Our Requirements
- You have practical experience with LLMs, generative AI, agentic AI, or comparable technologies, including productive operation.
- You have initial experience with agentic workflows or multi-agent systems, which is advantageous.
- You possess a good understanding of modern software architectures, APIs, integration, cloud, and production-ready systems.
- You are familiar with Python, LLM APIs, agent frameworks, RAG, vector databases, or Azure.
- You are fluent in German at a business level and have fluent English skills at least at B1 level.
- You work proactively, independently, and in a structured manner, bringing topics to a viable solution.
- You translate technical challenges into meaningful AI solution approaches and work with stakeholders on an equal footing.
- You act as an enabler and technical leader, sharing knowledge and explaining technical decisions clearly.
