Role:
As a Microsoft Cloud & Systems Engineer, you are responsible for the reliable operation of modern IT infrastructures and work at the interface between cloud, server, network, and security. You manage demanding environments and contribute to continuously improving their stability and efficiency.
The position offers you the opportunity to apply your knowledge of Microsoft technologies specifically while also gaining additional experience in automation and cloud operations. A varied mix of administration, support, monitoring, and customer service ensures a diverse field of activity.
Responsibilities:
Operation and administration of Windows Server infrastructures as well as Microsoft Cloud services
Support of Azure and Microsoft 365 environments including associated security components
Monitoring of customer infrastructures and early identification of potential disruptions
Investigation of technical issues and development and implementation of suitable solutions
Further development and automation of existing IT operations processes
Support with network, firewall, VPN, wireless, and SD-WAN topics as well as maintenance tasks
Qualifications:
IT training EFZ in system technology, application development, or a comparable qualification
Practical experience with Windows Server and modern IT infrastructures
Knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, as well as basic network and security technologies
Initial experience in automation with PowerShell or a similar scripting language
Customer-oriented, communicative, and resilient personality with an independent working style
Very good German skills and good English skills as well as enjoyment of teamwork
