Legal Trainee
Exciting tasks await:
- Supporting the lead public prosecutor in conducting criminal proceedings (investigation management and conclusion of the preliminary proceedings)
- Recording interrogations
- Accompanying on on-call duty
- Participating in court hearings (including delivering a plea under supervision)
- Drafting responses to appeals to the Higher Court
- Editing delegations and coercive measures, clarifying legal questions, drafting orders and correspondence
What you bring:
- Successfully completed Master’s degree in law
- Interest in the work of a public prosecutor
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Precise and reliable working style
The internship serves as initial professional experience and also as preparation for the bar exam. The internship usually lasts at least 6 months.

Your working environment
At the Public Prosecutor's Office Aargau , we are responsible for criminal proceedings against adults in the canton of Aargau. We conduct the preliminary proceedings and prosecute offences and offenders in close cooperation with the police. We issue penal orders, bring charges and represent the state’s criminal claims in court.
