You are looking for a new challenge in IT where you can apply your skills as a System Engineer Network & Infrastructure. In this role, you take responsibility for a complex, highly available environment with multiple locations and modern network infrastructures. You manage an environment with a strong security focus and ensure that the IT infrastructure runs smoothly. You are responsible for the maintenance and further development of the network infrastructure to meet the company’s requirements. You bring your experience and knowledge to keep the IT infrastructure at the highest level.
Responsibilities:
You operate and harden our network and firewall landscape with FortiGate, UniFi, and FS.com.
You implement secure network structures with VLANs, micro-segmentation, and zero-trust principles.
You manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and virtualised server environments on Hyper-V.
You optimise firewall policies, VPN connections, as well as IDS/IPS and monitor the security situation.
You support 3rd-level in complex infrastructure and security issues and contribute to SD-WAN, NAC, and automation projects.
Qualifications:
You have IT training or comparable practical experience in a technical environment.
You have solid knowledge in routing, switching, VLAN, and network security, ideally with UniFi, FS.com, or Cisco.
You have practical experience in administering FortiGate firewalls; an NSE certification is a plus.
You are familiar with Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Microsoft 365, and Hyper-V from daily operations.
You work analytically, independently, and solution-oriented and are enthusiastic about modern cybersecurity and infrastructure technologies.
