As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you take on a central role in the operation and further development of the IT infrastructure. You ensure the reliable operation of the system environments, support with technical challenges, and drive the optimisation of the IT services together with the team. You combine technical expertise with a solution-oriented approach and actively shape the further development of the IT landscape.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the smooth operation of the IT system landscape and ensure the availability of the infrastructure at multiple locations.
You are the central point of contact for technical concerns and support employees with complex issues in 1st and 2nd level support.
You operate and optimise the Microsoft environments including Active Directory, Windows Server, Exchange, file and print services.
You coordinate external IT service providers and ensure efficient collaboration on technical topics and services.
You further develop existing systems, create technical documentation, and accompany the implementation of infrastructure projects.
Qualifications:
You have completed an IT training or hold a comparable qualification with practical experience in the infrastructure environment.
You possess solid knowledge of Windows Server, Windows clients, networks, routing, and Microsoft Active Directory.
You bring experience in the administration of server, storage, and network components as well as in implementing backup and recovery solutions.
You work independently, structured, and solution-oriented and approach technical challenges responsibly.
You convince with your teamwork, communication skills, and a strong service orientation in exchange with internal and external contacts.
