Your working environment
As a Civil Engineer / Overall Project Manager Structural Engineering, you take on a central key role in building internal technical expertise and manage all structural engineering-related topics across all project phases. You act as a connecting element between architecture, specialist planning, and construction execution, combining strategic project management with operational engineering work. In this role, you are responsible for the technical quality, cost-effectiveness, and coordination of the projects and work closely with internal stakeholders.
Your role
Overall coordination of all specialist planners (structural engineering, HVAC, electrical, building physics, etc.)
Preparation and review of static calculations and structural concepts
Development of economical and optimised structural solutions
Preparation of tenders and technical evaluation of submissions
Interface management between planning, architecture, and execution
Quality assurance of technical implementation on site
Leadership and guidance of draftsmen (structural engineering)
Close coordination with internal stakeholders (architecture, site management)
Your qualifications
Completed studies as a civil engineer (FH/ETH/TU) or equivalent
Several years of experience in structural engineering and project management
Solid knowledge in statics, construction, and building processes
Experience in tendering and awarding processes
High communication and coordination skills
Entrepreneurial thinking and solution orientation
Ideally experience in interdisciplinary projects
