Head of Finance & Taxation (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF120,000 - 145,000Role:
A modern Swiss municipal administration that acts as a central service organisation for the population, businesses and local stakeholders. The range of tasks is diverse and extends from finance and taxation to construction and infrastructure, as well as resident services and other public services.
Employees can expect a varied environment with short distances, direct communication and responsible tasks.
Responsibilities:
In this key position, you are responsible for the financial management of a municipality, ensuring transparency, stability and future-oriented financial planning.
You manage the budgeting and closing processes, coordinate the different accounting areas and ensure reliable accounting.
You are the central expert for authorities and management bodies on financial policy and business management issues.
You are responsible for the operational management of liquidity, payment transactions, payroll and social insurance, keeping an eye on all interfaces.
At the same time, you lead the employees of the finance administration and use your scope for design to continuously develop processes and structures.
Qualifications:
A higher education in finance and accounting as well as solid professional experience in a responsible financial role form your professional foundation.
Topics such as budgeting, financial planning, annual financial statements and public accounting are part of your professional expertise.
You are a confident leader, communicate clearly and can present complex financial topics understandably for different stakeholders.
Fluent written and spoken German.
